Explore the high-altitude villages of Hikkim, Komic and Langza, visit the ancient Tabo and Key Monasteries, walk across the dramatic Chicham Bridge and enjoy the serene beauty of Nako Lake. The trip includes a special bonfire night to make your festive getaway memorable.

Choose Package with Hotel for stays and meals, or Hotel Not Required if you only want the cab. We follow the Shimla-Kinnaur-Kaza route, which stays open through winter, with experienced mountain drivers and oxygen support for emergencies.

Xmas & New Year Itinerary

Day0

Delhi to Shimla (Overnight Journey)

Depart from Delhi around 9:30 PM in a comfortable AC vehicle. Our team confirms the exact pickup point at the time of booking. Stop for dinner at a roadside restaurant on the way and continue the overnight drive towards Shimla.

Day1

Shimla to Chitkul / Sangla

Drive from Shimla via Narkanda, Rampur and Sarahan into the Baspa valley and reach Chitkul, the last Indian village near the Indo-Tibet border. Dinner and overnight stay in Chitkul or Sangla.

Day2

Chitkul to Tabo via Nako

After breakfast, drive through the snow-covered Kinnaur landscape via Nako to reach Tabo. Dinner and overnight stay in Tabo.

Day3

Tabo Monastery, Dhankar Monastery & Lingti Waterfall to Kaza

Visit the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery and Dhankar Monastery, and the frozen Lingti Waterfall (weather permitting). Continue to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay.

Day4

Hikkim, Komic & Langza

Explore the high-altitude villages of Langza, Hikkim (world's highest post office) and Komic. Return to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay. Tonight enjoy a special bonfire evening with the group.

Day5

Key Monastery & Chicham Bridge

Visit the iconic Key Monastery and walk across Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Asia. Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.

Day6

Kaza to Kalpa via Nako

Drive back via Nako and visit Nako Lake. Reach Kalpa for an overnight stay with views of the Kinner Kailash peaks.

Day7

Kalpa to Shimla & Overnight Journey to Delhi

After breakfast, drive to Shimla and begin the overnight journey back to Delhi.

Day8

Reach Delhi

Arrive in Delhi by morning with a bag full of snowy memories.

Delhi to Delhi transport by private AC vehicle (cab / tempo traveller as per group size) and all sightseeing as per itinerary.

Package with Hotel: 6 nights stay (1 Chitkul/Sangla, 1 Tabo, 3 Kaza, 1 Kalpa) in hotels / homestays.

Package with Hotel: 12 meals - Dinner on Day 1, Breakfast & Dinner on Days 2 to 6, Breakfast on Day 7.

All inner line permits for the trip.

Driver night charges, toll tax and parking charges.

Oxygen cylinder available 24x7 (in case of emergency).

1 special bonfire night.

Important Notes

In peak winter, water pipelines may freeze. Attached washrooms may then be replaced by common washrooms with one bucket of hot water per person.
Access to Hikkim, Komic, Langza and Pin Valley may be affected by heavy snowfall, so these stops are weather dependent. We will offer the best possible alternatives.
In case of heavy snowfall and road closure for regular vehicles, any 4x4 vehicle required will have to be arranged by the traveller at their own cost.
The Manali-Rohtang-Kunzum route is closed in winter. This package uses the Shimla-Kinnaur-Kaza route, which stays open through the year.
Weather, road conditions and group fitness may change the itinerary. We reserve the right to alter the schedule for safety and comfort.
Travellers from outside Delhi should reach Delhi by 4 PM on the start date and book return travel after 2 PM on the end date.
