1. Services Offered

Hire Himachal Cab provides the following services, subject to vehicle and driver availability:

• Local and outstation taxi services
• Car and cab rental with driver
• Customised and fixed tour packages across Himachal Pradesh and neighbouring regions
• Airport, railway station, and bus stand transfers
• Multi-day itinerary planning and travel assistance

All services are subject to confirmation by our team and may be modified or withdrawn based on operational, seasonal, or weather-related constraints.

2. Booking and Confirmation

• A booking is considered tentative until confirmed by our team via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
• You are responsible for providing accurate travel details, including pickup location, date, time, number of passengers, and vehicle preference.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking in case of vehicle unavailability, road closures, adverse weather, or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
• Confirmed bookings may be subject to an advance payment as communicated at the time of confirmation.

3. Payments

• Payments may be made via Cash, UPI, or Bank Transfer. We do not store or process card details on our website.
• Fares quoted are based on the itinerary, vehicle type, and duration discussed at the time of booking, and are subject to change in case of route deviations, additional stops, or extended usage.
• Toll charges, parking fees, state permits, and entry fees for monuments or protected areas are not included in the quoted fare unless explicitly stated.
• Any additional expenses incurred due to changes requested by the customer during the trip will be borne by the customer.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation requests must be communicated to us via phone, WhatsApp, or email as early as possible.
• Refund of any advance paid, if applicable, will depend on the timing of cancellation and the vehicle/driver arrangements already made.
• No refund will be provided for cancellations made after the vehicle has been dispatched or the trip has commenced.
• In the event we are unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to circumstances within our control, a full refund of any advance paid will be issued.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• Passengers must carry valid government-issued identification during the trip, especially for travel to restricted or permit-required areas such as certain parts of Ladakh, Kinnaur, and Spiti.
• Customers are responsible for obtaining any inner-line permits or special travel permissions required for restricted zones; our team can assist with guidance but final responsibility rests with the traveller.
• Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards drivers and refrain from any activity that endangers safety, damages the vehicle, or violates local laws.
• Any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence or misuse by passengers may be charged to the customer.

6. Vehicle and Driver Conditions

• We make reasonable efforts to provide well-maintained vehicles and experienced drivers for all bookings.
• Vehicle models shown on our website are indicative; the actual vehicle provided may vary in make or model within the same category, subject to availability.
• Drivers are entitled to reasonable rest periods, particularly during long-distance or hill routes, in accordance with road safety norms.
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, and carrying of illegal substances inside the vehicle are strictly prohibited.

7. Travel Risks and Liability

Travel across hill regions such as Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Kashmir may involve inherent risks including landslides, road blockages, weather disruptions, and altitude-related conditions.

• We are not liable for delays, itinerary changes, or trip disruptions caused by natural events, road closures, political disturbances, or government restrictions beyond our control.
• We strongly recommend that customers arrange appropriate travel insurance, particularly for high-altitude or remote itineraries.
• Our liability, where applicable, is limited to the value of the service fee paid for the specific booking in question and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses.

8. Tour Packages

• Tour package itineraries, inclusions, and exclusions are as communicated at the time of booking and may be customised on request, subject to feasibility.
• Sightseeing points, meal plans, and accommodation (where included) are subject to local availability and may be substituted with equivalent alternatives if required.
• Any activity not explicitly listed as part of the package, such as additional sightseeing, shopping stops, or detours, may attract extra charges.

9. Website Use

• Content on hirehimachalcab.com, including text, images, and tour package descriptions, is provided for informational purposes and may be updated without prior notice.
• You agree not to misuse the website, including attempting unauthorised access, submitting false information through our enquiry forms, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.
