From there, the route continues to Pushkar for a quiet evening by the lake, then to Udaipur, where the City Palace and its Lake Palace view over Lake Pichola are the highlight of the stay.
On the way from Udaipur to Jodhpur, the route passes through Kumbhalgarh, home to the second-longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China, and the intricately carved marble Ranakpur Jain Temples, two of the most striking stops in all of Rajasthan. The trip closes with a walking tour of Jodhpur's Blue City beneath the towering Mehrangarh Fort.
