Day1Arrival at Srinagar - Houseboat In Dal Lake
● At Srinagar airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative who will take you through this tour.
● Set off high directly to your luxury houseboat on the famous Dal Lake that is a hallmark of Kashmir hospitality.
● Pass your afternoon in relaxation around the still waters and the snowy background.
● Afterwards, take a Shikara ride and relax, admiring floating gardens, lotus blossoms, vendors etc.
● In the evening (optional) visit a traditional market in Srinagar to buy Pashmina shawls, saffron and local art.
● Go to the houseboat and have dinner with other local flavors.
● Stay in a houseboat, overnight, Srinagar.
Day2Srinagar to Pahalgam - Visit to Martand Sun Temple
● Have breakfast before starting a nice 2.5-hours drive to Pahalgam also referred to as the Valley of Shepherds.
● On the way to it, you should see an incredible Martand Sun Temple built in the 7 th century and located on the hill with views of mountains.
● Upon reaching Pahalgam, relax on the bank of the Lidder occupied with the alpine ambience.
● There is an optional activity of river rafting or a short hike into the pine infested forests.
● Arrive and check-in at the hotel and have dinner in the calm environment of the valley.
● Night in Pahalgam.
Day3Srinagar to Pahalgam - Local Sightseeing
● Have a heavy breakfast in Pahalgam in the fresh air of the place and drive back to Srinagar.
● Once arriving at your hotel, prepare yourself to spend a heritage-rich and sightseeing day.
● Pay a visit to the popular Mughal Gardens namely--Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi and Pari Mahal.
● Continue your journey to ancient Srinagar - visit Sufi mosques in Persian style, walk along the old streets and finally make a visit to the sacred Shah-I Hamdan's Shrine.
● In case you have time, stroll along Jhelum River and watch the sunset or have a relaxed time at a small cafe.
● Overnight at Srinagar.
Day4Further journey to Sonmarg Glacier Expedition
● After breakfast, get ready to spend a wonderful day excursion to Sonmarg or the Meadow of Gold.
● The trip of 2.5 hours to the destination brings delightful landscapes, green valleys, crystal streams, and pine forests.
● Upon reaching, ride an exciting pony to the Thajiwas Glacier which is covered with white snow in summer months too.
● Subsequently, drive down to Sindh Valley that is the location of Baltal base of the popular Amarnath Yatra.
● Enjoy panoramic views, inhale fresh air of the Alps and have a warm Kahwa at an estimated tea container.
● Be back at Srinagar by evening.
● The next night would be spent in Srinagar.
Day5Srinagar to Gulmarg - Snow Romance in the Cards
● Start your day with an appetizing breakfast and drive toward Gulmarg which is the snow-sport capital of Kashmir.
● The 2-hour ride through Tangmarg gives a taste of the most scenic postcard favorite landscapes and villages on the hillsides.
● Claim your hotel room and go out to visit the winter wonderland.
● Take the famous (optional) Gulmarg Gondola which is also the highest cable car on earth.
● Take part in winter sports schemes such as skiing, snowboarding, or go on a brief trek to Khilanmarg (6km) to view the spectacular sight of the Kashmir Valley.
● Then in the evenings, have hot food and have your rest at the fireplace.
● Overnight at Gulmarg.
Day6Departure to Srinagar
● After breakfast you pack up your bags and drive back to Srinagar to carry on with your further journey.
